The tomato dancer

So, I just started this blog a couple of nights ago while having trouble flipping from my night shift sleeping schedule. At the time, however, all I did was create the blog- there was no posting. Apparently, I bored of it pretty quickly. Today's posting and you tube video are in honor of our friend, Ben Bynum (the tomato dancer- see previously posted video,) who just lost his mother in a freak flash flooding accident in Mexico, of all places. Ben left this morning to fly to Mexico to claim his mother's body. This is not an expense or trip he was planning on making. When I was 21, I certainly didn't have money for a plane ticket out of the country and an undetermined number of nights in a hotel. Therefore, we are trying to raise money to help alleviate some of his debt. If you can find it in your heart to contribute, please contact my awesome husband, Fred Cothren, at Harpeth Bicycles (615.567.6612.) Any small amount of money helps- if 200 people donated $5 each, we'd have $1000. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

  1. Do you have a paypal address people could send money to? Would be very easy for people to contribute that way.

    (p.s. love the blog template)

  2. No, as paypal ends up with quite a bit of the money, and we want to cover as many of Ben's expenses as possible. However, the Harpeth Bicycles' (where Ben works) mailing address is: 330 Mayfield Dr., Franklin, TN 37067, for anyone wishing to mail a check. Oh, and checks may be made out to Ben Bynum (not Harpeth Bicycles.)

(p.s. I loved the template, too.)

  3. Fred pointed out prepaid gift cards from Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, often available from the grocery store, are easy to mail to the shop and easy to use, as well...
